Peace within our ranks...
I'm trying to organize a get together with my highschool barkada so we can patch up that turmoil that's been plaguing us for the past 3 weeks. I hope it pushes through today but some of them doesnt seem intrested at all. So far only 1 has replied to my text message.
About my barkada, we call the group Sailorteam. Yeah, when we were in high-school our love for anime and Sailormoon brought us together and each member had a role in it. I was Mamoru Chiba aka Tuxedo Mask (since I'm the only boy in the group).
Anyway, every year every December we go out of town as what Phoebe coined in Friends "Freinessance". Last year we went to Baguio and had a great 4 day stay there in the cld cold mountains. Of course, Rei's aka Sailormars' boyfriend Mike went along with us but it's ok. The guy used to be my best-friend in 2nd year high-school so I don't mind getting together with him too.
This year, I was the host. I organized and called in City of Springs resort in Laguna for an overnight stay in a luxurious resort with hotsprings in it. Suddenly 5 days before the excursion, Minako and Chibiusa texted that they can't go for some obscure reason. Makoto can't go too but she's off the hook since she has an international exam coming up and she has to go to Brunei sometime 1st quarter next year. This is something she CAN'T afford to fail. Mike suggested that we push through with it even if it was just me, Ami, Bunny, Rei and him but then Bunny calls Rei and tells her that she can't make it as well.
I think Rei blew her top. Actually me too. It took a lot of trouble to set and plan that trip especially during my 2nd phase of thesis and you NEVER IRRITATE A LIBRAN UNDER PRESSURE. Rei said some things to Bunny while Minako thinks that it's all her fault. The damage has been made and now I'm taking the liberty of patching the girls up. Girls are so HARD to talk into these things. One of the reasons why I'd rather go our with a guy sometimes. No one seems intrested to fix things anyway so I might as well.
The year is about to end and I don't want the Sailorteam to go into shambles because of one little set back. Honestly this i the first time this happened to our group... or so I think. Sometimes they don't say anything to me because of gender gap. I hope there will be peace within our ranks before the year ends. :(
