What happened last night
So last night was a blast. Unfortunately the gang was incomplete. Bunny didn't feel well (or so we think), Rei went to EK with her brothers, Ami was resting (dunno why). So it was only me, Minako, Chibiusa and Mako who met at SM Fairview.
The four of us tried out that new karaoke place. Mako and CHibiusa treated :D. Forgot it's name but it was kinda ok. Mako suggested that the one in SM North was much better. I mean, so much for sound proof rooms! I got to sing Weekend in New England and How Deep is Your Love. Kinda old fashioned, ne? ^_^ Everyone was singing depressing love songs so I decided to throw in Babae Po Ako by Tuesday Vargas. THAT lightened the mood but then I had to crouch from plain sight so I wouldn't embarass myself with the public. But then I realized, the rooms WEREN'T 100% sound proof. Good thing nobody cared outside the room XD
After that we went over to Super Bowl of China. I was greeted by the people there with "Nice of you to visit us again sir". HAHA! They must love me there. I'm probably one of their loyal customers. XD We feasted on 2 plates of Yang Chow Fried Rice, Brocolli and Beef and Lemon Chicken. It's was uber yummy!! While we dined, we talked about these subjects:
- Why I can't go back together with Bunny
- Mako's test to Guam (it's not Brunei, my mistake)
- Minako's new hairdo
- How Rei and her boyfriend can spend 1,200 pesos on a meal for two
- How Bunny seemed immature and detached from the group which was clearly pointed out by Chibiusa
After the wonderful dinner care of Minako and me, Minako and Chibiusa (They are twins in real life btw) gave Mako and me our gifts. I got this cute gel candle thingy. :D I bought Shaman King for the ps2 and it was a riot. Horohoro sure is cute (wish I had a huggy plush doll of him) XD
Went I walked back home, I realized that the friendship we share now is no longer just about anime like back in high-school. We start talking about ourselves now and what goes on with out lives and I think it's great. I never really felt a connection with the Sailorteam until just recently. However, like what Chibiusa said... Bunny does seem detached and she never does talk to anyone really. Could it be because of our past together or is it just because our interests as a group changed and she can't keep up with the rest of us? I guess some of us in the team stay together out of friendship and some stay just for the icon of Sailorteam. I sure do hope everyone is in it because we ARE friends.
Mood: Ecstatic
