Highway star and some Thai food :p

I had a fun morning...

There I was leisurely taking my time at Sm Fairview looking for a new pair of socks and some weight lifting gloves for the gym. I had some digital pics developed at Picture City and ate Spicy Pork at Pilo. It was around 12:50 that I casually walked towards my pick-up to drive over to school to work on layouting for the Karilyon and join Vinci and the others to go to the gym at AKIC.

Around 1:05 did I suddenly realize that my pick-up is coding and I have less than an hour before I get creamed by the cops.

Moving like a snake, I zipped and zoomed past numerous obstacles (miscellaneous careless jeepneys, buses, taxis and fxs... and some pedestrians too... ) in a race against time. 2 o clock, I reached that parking space near Benilde without getting my ass burned. Another reason why I hurried was because I needed to pee and I held it in for a whole hour.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha...

The entire fiasco probably made me a felon to those jeeps, buses and fxs. Pope said that I shouldn't mind it since they deserved the madness anyway. Think of it as a public service where as I gave revenge in behalf of all those annoyed decent motorists (and pedestrians) plagued by the inhumanity of jeep/bus/fx drivers.

Nyahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

I love driving. :D

So there, the whole afternoon was mellow. Vinci, Jenjen and I went to the gym. I'd post that pic of Jenjen with the dumbbells but she'd kill me if I did. *lol* She couldn't keep a straight face the whole time she did her workout routine. I helped spot Vinci with the barbells... something I never thought I'd ever do.

Helped with the layout after the gym thing since I'm back as a layout staffer. :) I have a few terms left in my stay in college and the SPU has been kind enough to me so it's the least I could do to show my appreciation since I'm not that going to be busy anymore during my last few terms.

Going home was better since there isn't much traffic from Taft to Novaliches. I constantly meowed and screamed Japanese phrases inside the car while making weird faces to annoy or freak-out the other motorists.

I swear I'm not going to eat another Oriental Rice Bowl from KFC. That thing has so much fat content I just balloon up after eating it. I'd rather eat at Ayuthaiiya that great Thai restaurant at SM Fairview. It's one of those few restaurants that know me. *lol* BJ and I usually eat there if we have money. For 300 bucks we get great ulam and a plate of their delicious Spicy Chicken Fried Rice. It's also the only restaurant I know where the head chef actually goes out and greets the customers. He always makes our food spicy since we like spicy food :) I just couldn't get enough of it! Yum! I think I'll go there tomorrow to eat.

Re-evaluating my life

I had a good talk with Milo last night concerning my life so far for the past year... He helped me peice together the fragments of the puzzle I call my life.

Let's get one thing out in the open. I USED to be Bisexual. Why was I even one? It's a defense mechanism and I misinterpreted people's affections. I was desperate and needy for love.

I thought that if I go for both genders I'd get laid more or something. Fortunately nothing happened and I think God wanted to tell me something with that. Maybe I am supposed to be straight. Or better yet, maybe my entire issue right now does not revolve around the fact why am I still single.

It's not about why I'm still single. It's all about me as a person and how I should strive to become better. I spent days and nights wondering why I'm still single wondering if I repel people. It's not about being in a relationship. It's all about finally realizing who I am and my reason for existance.

Thankfully Alvin and Rye declined my offer/affection otherwise I wouldn't have realized that there are more important things that I should be dealing with right now.

Meeting some significant people in teambuilding made a lot of difference in me. I met this one specific person and the way we talked and related to each other was more than enough. It made me content and hopefully complete. I felt incomplete because I never felt a love from my dad or my brothers while I grew up. Then there's this guy who I just met but acknowledged my existance. Now there's nothing more I need. Let's just say I somewhat found peace.

BJ's right. I never hooked up with my crush from the yearbook but I made a good friend. :)

What's instore for me now? I'm straight again. :D But I'm not in a hurry to find THE ONE like before. My next mission is to finally use my talents to make it into the industry and make a name for myself. I wanna publish my works, comics and animations to the world as an artist with passion and a story to tell...

I just hope that whatever challenges comes my way, I'll be strong enough to overcome them.

From the Teambuilding experience

I just came back from the SPU teambuilding seminar April 18 to 20. I had fun and it was one of those few times that I didn't care about running halfnaked around the beach *lol*

This could take a while so I'll break it down:

April 18... Day 1:
I was feeling nervous since when I stepped into the office before departure I hardly knew anyone there. I had second thoughts of not coming along actually but since Jaja and the rest of the powerpuff girls were there I thought, what the hey.

After 2 hours of bus time we arrived at White Cove beach resort Batangas. Save for the lovely beach, this place had weird building layouts. The pool was half finished so it kinda sucked in a way. Not planning to go back here unfortunately. Honestly, unless you're in a group of 80 plus people, this place will not be fun.

Seeing that BJ and most of the guys I'm close with are facilitators I decided to find a buddy or a companion to be with. Met this guy named Pope (real name Gian) and the guy was pretty cool. Thankfully we got the same room assignment. Strangely tho... the guy reminds me of one of my characters for Assorted Nuts, Jon.

The group I got assigned with was fun. There's Jaja (ever kulit and number 1 talent), Jc (promotor ng ka-jologan sa group), Janice (kala mo tahimik pero tindi humirit), Jam (she's one cool girl), Tasha (very fun, muntik na magtangakang magnakaw ng big umbrella sa resort), Julie (she lead us to salvation!), me (the resident artist) and Charlotta (the group mascot na sobrang kulit). We called ourselves Charlotta's Angels because of our groupmate Charlotta. Haha! She probably hates me for it in a way since I came up with the name. Buti na lang game na game sila.

"Charlotta, Charlotta, Ang Sarap sarap maging angel mo
pwedeng gumiling, pwede magswimming, pwedeng sumisid, pwedeng magmasid"
-- our beloved Cheer composed by JC, sung to the tune of Basketball *lmao*

This proved to be quite outrageous since andaming na LSS dito. :D

Nighttime came and the room we stayed in felt like it was a Christian fellowship thing. I'm not complaining but I didn't expect JM and Renito to be religious people. I'm glad tho since I think God put me there to hear the good word and to give me insights on how to be straight.
Funny tho since Renito and JM was trying to convince BJ to pull down his pride. Honestly, I think he needed it and it's up to him whether he listens or not.

April 19... Day 2:

I started working on our small group yearbook by plotting the outlines and drawing the group portraits. Good thing they loved it. :) Vinci and Sam asked me to do drawings for the Lord of the rings jack and poy game. It was fun tho I didn't know how to draw orcs. Haha. We didn't win there tho but we had a blast especially since Jc gave life to the word "Shield". Another thing that marked a place in the hearts of those in the teambuilding. Hehe.

I didn't enjoy the next activity however with all the bidding. I dunno if I was tired or if I was out of it but I got pissed off with BJ that time since he was acting like a powertripping maniac. Didn't talk to him throughout the entire day except during dinner time when I started using my negative energy towards something constructive like making him the butt of my jokes. Bonded some more with Pope tho. Very nice guy and we had a nice friendly chemistry too. Wish we could get to know each other more. Good candidate for bestfriend. Hehe.

Fortunately, the group kept me busy and kept things fun. We got late for the Series of Unfortunate events so we had to be punished. 15 reps of pushups for the guys.. dunno about the girls but they had to squat tho. We didn't care tho. I had a feeling we were the only group who was the least aware of what's going on. *lol* I loved that game since it was the only time I ran across the beach with out a shirt and with pride. HAHAHAHAHAHA...

I genuinely loved our group. We hardly became serious but we still kicked ass and we laughed a lot giving us great group dynamics. Our skit on Finding Nemo was brilliant and we won best musical score thanks to Jc's choreography, Charlotta's dance and Jaja's singing :D

After that, we retreated to our rooms. Still not talking to BJ since I needed time to cool off. Pope and I bonded some more by not joining the rest of the guys in the common room and just talked on the terrace. That kid has a lot of insight and I like people who start conversations that made sense.

April 20... the last day:

It's the day when everyone relaxed at the beach after Mike Mariano's talk. It was fun and refreshing. I wanted to teach Charlotta how to swim but she wouldn't let me. Too bad. We would have stayed in the beach some more but then jelly fishes came. Grrr... That's oughto do it.

We left at around 1 after a lot of picture taking. I'll post my pics soon once I get them scanned or imported. It was a lot of fun since I made new friends. Weird since their impression of me before was I was this quiet serious introvert. Gulat sila nung temabuilding since I was soooo makulit. Hehe.

I also realized this is my last teambuilding. I hope I can come next year as a facilitator. :)
